Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga. She was born in Manhattan New York United States. Cynthia Louise Bissett, vice president at Verizon Mobile. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. is her father, an internet company director and businessman. She grew up in the prestigious Upper East Side of Manhattan within an elitist Catholic family. Because of this, her parents enrolled her in the Convent of the Sacred Heart a religious and elitist school. From the time she was a child she was an avid music fan. She was able to play the piano in the very beginning and composed her first solo song at the age of thirteen. She was a part of open-mic night. Her most favored artists were David Bowie, Madonna and Queen Michael Jackson. She took music classes in the Tisch School of Art of New York University after completing her high school education. She did not complete her study, but left them to pursue her musical career.
