The actress, once the cover model for Vogue magazine, is now living at Beverly Hills along with Samantha and Olivia. They were married for only 8 years before they were divorced for 20, but Ann Turkel is still struggling to deal with the loss of her ex-husband, Richard Harris. Turkel is a Jewish girl who was raised within Manhattan and born to a middle-class Jewish family, studied under Sanford Meisner and Philip Burton at the age of 16. The grandmother of her is believed to be responsible for helping her develop creative skills. Ann spent her childhood studying dancing, acting and singing. By the age of 16, Ann had studied at the Musical Theatre Academy and the Neighborhood Playhouse with some of the most prominent acting coaches in the city including Sandy Meisner and Philip Burton. Ann began singing in high school along with fellow students, and then began forming the group. The band was based in Stockbridge, Massachusetts she also had a summer time at Berkshire Playhouse performing plays like The Pajama Game and West Side Story. Ann's appearance as a member of her band at a fashion event was when Gloria Schiff, editor of Vogue Magazine, discovered Ann. In just a couple of weeks and a half, the editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot her first Vogue Cover featuring photographer Richard Avedon. Ann became one of the most sought-after models of all time and her work was featured in top fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann modeled successfully for cosmetic companies including Max Factor Revlon, Chanel and Europe in Europe after two years.
